Reminiscence
Written by Enos Sopacuaperu
The embers glow, a dying fire's gleam,
Casting long shadows, a forgotten dream.
Each flicker brings a memory's ghost,
Of moments cherished, loved and lost.
A whisper of laughter, a tear that may stray,
For time's relentless, and youth slips away.
The echoes of voices, a melancholic sound,
Of joys long past, where solace is not found.
But in the embers, a flicker remains,
A spark of hope, that joy still sustains.
For memories linger, a treasure untold,
A story whispered, in hearts of old.
